Edited with additions, particularly of documents, by Eugene C. Barker, assisted by state librarian Ernest W. Winkler. This documentary history contains a wealth of information about early Texas. The final three volumes contain biographical sketches of notable, and some perhaps not so notable Texans. Very light edgewear and a couple of scratches on spines, but this is a very good set, seldom found intact. Price:

Book is very good internally, bright and tight. Titles on spine faded. Errata note pasted in on title page, apparently as issued.
