Buenos Aires Editorial Pampa 1972 English Leather Very Good No Jacket as Issued Book Alberto Guiraldes 
Brown leather binding is unusual in that the front is three-dimensional, depicting a Guiraldes scene of a guacho on horseback, with a wagon and pampas grass. The back is carefully impressed in a small overall diamond design. The famous poem was first published in 1872, and in English translation by Walter Owen in 1935. This version is handsomely done and show only lightest weear at edges of the spine. The story is of a prototypical hero, set in the wilds of the Argentine plains. 328 pages.

Printed on Arak paper by Carl Hertzog of El Paso for Neiman-Marcus. This book is slightly smaller in format than the 1939 printing, also for Meiman-Marcus. The gray boards binding has a yellow band with the titles in black.The light green jacket has an envelope imposed on the shape of Texas in a design on the front. The jacket has small chips at top of spine. Light foxingf on endpapers. Text is bright and clear.

Padded leather binding, tan with pebble grain upper half and striated design onlower, with small black design. Tennyson in gilt on front. Rounded corners, all edges gilt, inner red dentelles. Front hinge is weak,and small darkening on lower spine, but book is in mylar wrap. Fanct endpapers, nice paper that doesn't bleed through. Inner edge of binding has bright gilt pattern.
